ACSO Summary

This is really a peculiar document. Let’s bullet some of the things you should look for:

Withey (who wanted to be a captain and let it be known he did not like me or appreciate me for not recommending him for promotion to Sheriff Oelrich) was in my office every morning during Darnell’s campaign working with Gallagher in an attempt to find something adverse about me.

That the case was sent to FDLE was obviously a clear indication that ACSO wanted someone at FDLE to make a decision that clearly could have been done by ACSO and should have. Instead they deferred responsibility and took the easy way out. Then ACSO did “their own” investigation anyway falling short of completion. This is evident from the report filed by Withey who purposely did not follow-up leads or purposely misrepresented the statements to justify his and Darnell’s ultimate desired conclusion.)

For Withey, Huckstep, Vermillion or Darnell to think a major, well respected in this community with an impeccable record and reputation, would purposely lie versus setting the record straight from the earlier impromptu FDLE interview is ludicrous.

It is important to note here that State Attorney Bill Cervone found nothing criminal in the FDLE summary which corroborates my statements. That should have been the clue to ACSO except they had a different agenda.
