CJSTC Meeting on May 8,2008
This is the transcript of the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission meeting on May 8, 2008 wherein my case was closed. Please pay close attention to the comments of FDLE attorney Joe White, especially on page six. Additionally, please also see the comments of my attorney on pages 10 and 11 that received no objection. And on page 15, of which an amendment is forthcoming, on 13, that was the statement of former Sheriff Stephen Oelrich wanting to set the record straight, but being trumped by the maker of the motion who called the question before the commission. Mr. George, the maker of the motion knew that a potential unpleasant verbal exchange was on the verge of happening between Sen. Oelrich and Commissioner Rivera.
Again, this is where the comment of Senator Oelrich in a note to a family member of mine is appropriate. He said, “…this is a classic example of killing a gnat with a sledge hammer.”
